Every December we are standing in the kitchen, baking these goodies. But who doesn't love ginger cookies during Christmas? Good thing we found a healthier version which is sugar-free, plant-based and gluten-free. With these you can enjoy the holiday season completely guilt-free. Plus baking with Superfoods is easy – try it!



  • 3-4 tablespoons Chocolate Lover Mix
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup organic dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup quinoa flour
  • 1/2 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup organic maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon cloves
  • 1/2 tablespoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla


    • Melt the coconut oil on low heat and mix all wet ingredients in.
    • In a bowl, combine the Chocolate Lover Mix with the flours and spices.
    • Once it's all mixed, gradually add the liquid mixture.
    • Mix for about 3-4 minutes until the dough is nice and light.
    • Add in the Chocolate Chips and mix for another minute.
    • Put the dough into a bowl and leave it in the fridge overnight. 
    • Before rolling it out the next day, let the dough sit on the counter for about 30 minutes.
    • Pre-heat the oven to 320°F.
    • Roll the dough out on parchment paper and cut out the cookies with cookie cutters (or a glass).
    • Bake for about 8 minutes until golden.
    • Let them cool before decorating or if you're like us... start eating right away.
    • Enjoy!

     SUPER TIP: If you can't get your hands on quinoa flour – use buckwheat, oat or rice flour instead.
