There are few foods more polarizing than beets — well, except maybe cilantro.
People either love their earthy flavor or complain that they taste like dirt or feet — there is no in between. But I think our beet hummus will change your mind — it’s that good!
The lemon and garlic in this beet hummus do an amazing job of camouflaging that earthy flavor.
But the real “secret sauce” to our beet hummus is our Energy Bomb mix. Just 1 spoonful of this energizing mix is the same as 1 cup of coffee.
So when that 3pm slump comes around, don’t grab grande mocha frapa-whatever. Reach for this energizing beet hummus, instead! And don’t forget your veggies for dipping!

ENERGIZING BEET HUMMUS
MAKES 2 CUPS | VEGAN
- 1 tsp Energy Bomb mix
- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 cup beetroot, cooked
- ½ lemon, juiced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp tahini
- salt and pepper, to taste
- Place all of the ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
- Transfer to a bowl and serve with crackers or veggies.
Super Tip: Add 2 tbsp Muscle Power mix for more protein!
