Kristel’s Food Journal: What To Eat To Stay Healthy This Winter

If you know Kristel, you know her healthy habits are ultra inspiring. Here’s what she eats during the winter to boost her immune system and stay healthy.

Everyone is always wondering what Kristel eats in a day and who can blame them? She’s glowing, bursting with positive energy, and always has a smile on her face! Clearly, her routine is worth following.

Here’s how Kristel uses her favorite Your Super mixes throughout the day, plus what she loves to eat during winter to stay healthy and boost her immunity.

WHAT KRISTEL EATS IN A DAY

To start each day, Kristel drinks two glasses of water. She keeps up this hydrating habit throughout the day by drinking 8 glasses of water in between meals. This helps her to detox her system, stay hydrated, and fight hunger.


DAY 1: BREAKFAST- Green Smoothie

INGREDIENTS:

1 tsp Super Green

2 tbsp Skinny Protein

1 tsp Forever Beautiful  

1tsp Power Matcha (on mornings when she’s tired)

1 handful spinach

1 banana

1/2 cup frozen mango

juice 1/2 lemon

3 tbsp coconut milk

1-2 cups water

 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Place all of the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

LUNCH- Super Salad

INGREDIENTS:

Romaine lettuce

Tomato

½ red pepper

Cucumber

Parsley

Handful of tofu

1 cup pre-cooked brown rice (optional)

 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Chop lettuce, tomate, onion, cucumber, and combine in a bowl.
  2. Cook tofu and brown rice as directed and add to your veggie bowl when cooked.
  3. Add dressing and enjoy!

 

DRESSING INGREDIENTS:

1 tbsp tahini

2 tbsp ground mustard

2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

water to thin

Pepper

1 tsp dill (optional)

 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bow
  2. Whisk together and add water to thin
  3. Add to your salad and enjoy!

SNACK - Super Green bar


DINNER- Veggie Pasta

INGREDIENTS:

1 tsp Super Green

1 jar tomato paste

1 large zucchini

1 onion

1/2 pack brown rice pasta

Handful of mushrooms

 

DRESSING:

2 tbsp tahini

Pepper

Oregano/Italian herbs - top with nutritional yeast if you like!

Water to thin

 

DESSERT - Mushroom Hot Chocolate

INGREDIENTS:

1 tsp Magic Mushroom

2 tsp Plant Collagen

1 cup warm oatmilk

2 large pieces dark chocolate

 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Warm oat milk in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir in Magic Mushroom and Plant Collagen and pour into a mug.
  3. Enjoy with two pieces of dark chocolate.

DAY 2: BREAKFAST- Berry Oatmeal

INGREDIENTS:

2 tsp Forever Beautiful

2 tbsp Muscle Power

1 cup quick oats

1.5 cups water

1/2 cup frozen berries

2 tbsp raisins

1/2 banana -

 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine all of the ingredients (except the Forever Beautiful Mix) in a small pot
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring often to prevent burning or sticking. (5-10 minutes)
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the Forever Beautiful Mix.
  4. Pour into a bowl, add top with almond butter and banana
  5. Serve and enjoy!

LUNCH- Veggie Sandwich 3 ways!

INGREDIENTS:

3 slices of whole grain, brown gluten-free

-1 slice with 1/2 avocado with 1/2 tsp Power Matcha, pepper, salt

1 slice with almond butter with 1 tsp Forever Beautiful

1 slice with hummus from package with 1tsp Super Green stirred in

 

SNACK- Chocolate smoothie

INGREDIENTS:

2 tsp Chocolate Lover

1 tsp Magic Mushroom

2 tbsp Chocolate Protein

1 frozen banana

1 cup almond milk

1 tbsp almond butter

Pinch of salt

 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Place all of the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

DINNER - Pumpkin Soup

INGREDIENTS:

1 tsp Golden Mellow

½ pumpkin

1 onion

½ coconut milk

2 tsp curry powder

Pepper & salt to taste

Water

 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Roast 1/2 pumpkin with 1 onion in the oven on 360°F for until soft (about 30 minutes)
  2. Add the pumpkin and onion to a blend and combined with coconut milk, curry powder, and pepper & salt to taste
  3. Stir in Super Green Mix and add water to thin
  4. Add to a bowl and enjoy!
