Trick or treat yourself with these healthy Vegan Twix Bars!

As Halloween is approaching, today we're all about the decadent treats. Yes, you read it right – we made healthier vegan Twix bars and we can't wait to share the recipe with you.

Indulging and enjoying chocolate doesn't necessarily have to be an unhealthy thing.
No need to feel guilty while enjoying the most delicious Halloween treats, especially when they're made with Chocolate Lover mix!

  • 2 cups oat flour
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • ½ cup melted coconut oil
  • ½ cup maple syrup


  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • ½ cup almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp sea salt



  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8 inch metal pan and a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the crust ingredients until it forms a dough.
  3. Press dough evenly into the pan.
  4. Use a fork to poke holes in the crust and bake for 10-15 minutes. Let cool.
  5. In a small saucepan, whisk together the caramel layer ingredients over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth.
  6. Let cool slightly, then pour over the crust and spread into an even layer. Freeze for 30 minutes.
  7. Make the chocolate layer by melting the coconut oil in a saucepan.
  8. Remove from heat and whisk in the maple syrup and Chocolate Lover mix until smooth.
  9. Remove the base from the pan and cut into 16 bars.
  10. Dip each bar into the chocolate and evenly coat.
  11. Place on the baking sheet and freeze for 20 minutes.
     SUPER TIP: Sprinkle some sea salt over the chocolate coating when it's still wet!

    My kids and I tasted this recipe with every layered step and we loved the taste of it all, from start to finish! Quite a nice treat and to know that every bite was nourishing our bodies, I’d say major win!
